Rajiv earned a Ph.D. from NYU, where he developed semiotic and cultural approaches to film, television, and consumer culture. After completing his doctoral research, Rajiv worked on brand insights and strategy projects with major clients from the media, technology, and spirits industries as a Research Executive at Flamingo. Drawing upon his research and strategic experience, Rajiv works with television and media clients to create culturally resonant content and help major brands better understand the current cultural landscape.
Rajiv especially enjoys projects that look to bridge serious conversation and light poppy entertainment.
Rajiv specializes in Reality Television, Lifestyle content, and scripted drama. In addition, building off of his doctoral research, Rajiv also focuses on cultural conversations around race, diversity, gender/sexuality, and global pop culture.
