Rafael Eli
Partner, Schramm Marketing Group

Rafael Eli is a multicultural marketing expert with over 30 years of experience. He was recently honored as an influential Latino executive with the EL Award presented by El Diario, New York’s leader Spanish language newspaper.

 

At Schramm, Rafael is responsible for executing on promotions and media services, especially for Schramm’s clients in the business of pay television, media, not-for-profit and sports.   He is best known for promoting activities that target Hispanic audiences and fans.

 

Prior to joining Schramm Marketing Group in 1999, Rafael was a Managing Director at ABC Radio International (now known as ESPN Radio) where he was responsible for the international distribution of the radio broadcasting rights for many U.S. sports events.

 

Before ABC, Rafael held the position of Marketing Communications Manager for the Hispanic market at AT&T Long Distance. At AT&T he was responsible for managing its $40MM Hispanic media budget, the third largest in the country, at that time.

 

Rafael started his career working at General market Direct Marketing ad agencies like BBDO Direct, Wunderman Worldwide and Nash Direct, managing accounts like Hasbro Toys, Mattel, Tonka Toys, TWA, Sheraton Hotels, American Airlines, Avon, Remy Martin and others.

 

Rafael holds an MBA from Fordham University. He has a BA in French and Political Science from Rutgers University and also attended Université de la Sorbonne and Université de Tours in France.
